Amazon has launched an upgraded Kindle for the readers at a price as low as $80. With the objective of increasing the e-reader sales it has come up with a little thinner and lighter device than the other variant. This version supposedly also has more memory and comes loaded with additional services.

Amazon has always been keen with e-reader market considering it was first renowned for the e-books. Despite users preferring tablet computers and phablets for their electronic books, Amazon has ensured to keep up with the pace of evolving and has also maintained an even price range.

Amazon said in a statement,
“Unlike reflective tablet and smartphone screens, the high contrast touchscreen display on Kindle eliminates glare in any setting, even in direct sunlight. Recent studies have shown that evening exposure to blue light from backlit screens like tablets and smartphones can suppress the body’s production of melatonin, a naturally occurring hormone that helps the body fall asleep. Because the Kindle display emits no light, you can read anytime without losing sleep”
Upgraded Kindle notable features

- Includes features like “export notes,” allowing users to send notes and highlights from a book to e-mail
- Comes with capability of Bluetooth audio pairing with a screen reader that can allow the visually impaired to hear content without an adaptor.
Amazon released its top-of-the-line Kindle Oasis reader back in April this year, which sells for $290 in the United States.
