Android Wear Devices also Get Flipkart Wishlist App

The well-liked Indian e-commerce firm, Flipkart early this week announced of its latest app for all Android wear devices, the Wishlist app. It is through this app users can view their Flipkart Wishlist on their Android Wear devices and also can push notifications from the Flipkart app.

At this stage it can be noted that the main Android Flipkart app push notifications need to be enabled by users to get the push notification feature in the Flipkart Wishlist app’s current version for Android Wear devices.

With the app not still listed on Google Play, the firm with a forthcoming version of the Wishlist app plans to bring in more features like price drop notification, personalized offer notification, order tracking information and more. For now the only way to get the app installed on Android Wear device is to install the Flipkart app’s latest version on the user’s Android smartphone or tablet and then connect it with the wearable device which would then automatically install the app onto the device.

Along with this announcement Flipkart also informed its users about the stock availability of Moto 360 smartwatch with it. It also said that a forthcoming version of the Flipkart wearable app will possess features for compatibility with Martian and Garmin smartwatches.

Flipkart last couple of months made it big with setting records in its sales like the Big Billion Day event held in India during early October is worth mentioning.  Flipkart with its Big Billion Day sales achieved Rs. 615 crores sales in just about 10 hours. Though the Big Billion Day had massive sales records, it also enforced the firm to face some problems from the customers end. It had many complaints raised against it mainly reporting that the firm had raised prices of products for the sales, misleading customers with its discount patterns and so on. With this users were also prone to site-based glitches like the site being not accessible, issues with out of stock and cancellations. The founders however apologized to customer through email.
