Micromax Canvas Hue is the latest launch from the company in line with its new Canvas-series smartphones. Priced Rs. 10,999, the Canvas Hue will be available from today, Friday both online as well as in retail stores all over India.

Now the most highlighting feature of the phone as claimed by Micromax is that the smartphone comes with 30-day battery backup. A large 3000mAh battery packed with the smartphone along with the handset’s super power saving mode is said to delivery 30-day battery back-up.

Getting in-depth with the phones features:

The Canvas Hue based of Android 4.4.2 KitKat is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supporting device. As confirmed by the company, upgrading the smartphone to Android 5.0 Lollipop is possible via FOTA (firmware over-the-air) but the update’s exact release date is not revealed yet.

The Canvas Hue comes with a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratch resistant. Powering the device is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor mated with 1GB of RAM and a Mali 450 GPU. The in-built storage capacity of the smartphone is 8GB that could still be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Now the most wanted thing of any smartphone, its camera – The Micromax Canvas Hue features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera that gets Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash and the front camera is a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera.

Connectivity options available on the Canvas Hue are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The colour options given for this Canvas Hue by Micromax are White and Gold. So anyone wanting to get this device can select either white or gold coloured Canvas Hue.

Micromax Chief Executive Officer, Vineet Taneja talking about the launch said that this Canvas Hue is an ideal blend of seamless efficiency, premium design with superior technology supporting the needs of the ever sprouting consumers. With this Canvas Hue launch, Vineet Taneja is confident in addressing yet another major need of Indian customers and that is its extended battery life. He also promises that the company would continue in enriching the consumer experience by giving out state-of-the-art products and services.
