Flipkart, Motorola’s exclusive online retail partner in a Facebook post revealed that starting today India will be getting the 2014 Moto X 32GB variant.

Moto X 16GB variant was launched in September, but with just 8GB usable storage space, considered very less. Compared to the original Moto X this is still less as the original 16GB model had usable storage space of 11.6GB. No external card slot with this September launch model was another drawback that didn’t make people happy who wanted to store more photos, apps, music on their Moto X phones.

Owning to this is where Flipkart now announced of it bringing in the 32GB Moto X variant stock for Indian customers with the sale starting from today i.e 22nd December. This of course should be of great news for all those who wish to have a quality Android device, but until now were dissatisfied with the Nexus 6’s sheer size and Moto X’s limited storage space.

The new Moto X with a 2.5GHz Snapdraon 801 SoC underneath is said to work along with 2GB of RAM running stock Android 4.4 KitKat. However, the latest announcement by Motorola is of its Indian users to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

Both 16 and 32 GB of storage handsets are to be shipped by Motorola that come along with a healthy 2300 mAh battery unit. To talk about the shooter, a 13MP rear camera is put on the phone that also holds a 2MP front camera for selfies. And in connectivity, the headlining feature is its Wi-Fi ac connectivity option. This device also like the Moto G and Moto E comes with a water-resistant coating.

The Moto x (2nd Gen) 32 GB variant in India is getting a price tag of Rs. 32,999 while the already available 16GB Moto x (2nd Gen) variant gets a price cut and is sold at Rs. 29,999.

Flipkart’s along with its announcement of Moto X 32GB variant launching in India also lets out some grand Christmas launches which include the Micromax’s Yu Yureka,  Nexus 6 and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G.
