Google’s I/O Developers Conference is coming up and we only have a few days to go. With that being said, this is the time we get bombarded with rumors of both Android and Google. People want to know what the latest Android version would be, the latest tech that would be released, what Google has to offer, and so on and so one. You get the picture.

From morning, we are hearing that the new version would be Android L. What is this Android L? Well, for starters, no one knows anything. Everyone is just speculating and basing their thoughts on some leaked screenshots. The left-hand-side upper-corner has an “L” shape and people believe it to be “Android L.”

People! This is a leaked screenshot. It can be or mean anything! It can even be a new debugging app with a new icon. But, we are all human and we all want to believe it is the new version of Android. There were rumors earlier in the week that Google would be launching its last Nexus device before closing down the Nexus brand. We also have confirmed reports that LG would not be producing it.

The screenshot was discovered by a Reddit user and he promptly put it out there for everyone to see. This resulted in the screenshot being removed and now it just points to a 403-error page telling that you are not permitted to get that URL. Basically, meaning that the URL has been marked as private.

So, what exactly is Android L? Everyone wants to believe it is Android 5.0 and the last Nexus 6.0 device. No one really has any proper idea other than that it could be Android 5.0. If you look at the screen shots below, you will get an idea of what everyone is talking about.

So, that’s it people! We will have to wait, for now, and see what Google has in store for us at its I/O Developers Conference. We do hope that it is something of use and that we do get to see some new things at the I/O Developers Conference.

Do you think that Google will release Android 5.0 at Google’s I/O Developers Conference? What do you think Android 5.0 will be like? How will this affect Apple’s iOS, BlackBerry 10 OS, Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 OS, Mozilla’s Firefox OS, Samsung’s Tizen OS, or Amazon’s Fire OS? Will Android 5.0 be the game changer that everybody has been waiting for?
